The Will Murray Gala Night

The East Sandringham Junior Football Club

the mighty Zebbies – is one of the most established sporting clubs in Bayside Melbourne. Formed in 1948, the Club has nurtured many football talents including AFL Brownlow medallist Chris Judd.

The Club recently held a Gala Night in May to raise money for Will Murray, one of our talented team mates who seriously injured his spinal cord jumping off a pier at Half Moon Bay.

Will was Vice Captain of the Victorian School Boys State Football Team, represented Australia at the World BMX titles and played representative basketball. You may have seen his story in the media:

Pandoras Palate was recently contacted us asking if we would like to donate our product to the hamper in which they would aution off on the night of the event. The Hamper wieghed in at 50kg and as you can see by the generousity of many to support the even was over whelming.

Our goal is to purchase a wheelchair-accessible car for the family.

The Gala in aid of Will Murray was a huge success, with close to $32,000 raised!

Also, I would like to share with you a message from the Murray family : “We can’t thank you and the Committee enough for putting on last nights event. I was blown away by the number of people and the support which will be a huge help to Will. Amazing venue and it looked like everyone had a great time. Much appreciated.  Nick"

On behalf of the East Sandringham Junior Football Club, I thank you for Pandora's Palate's donation.
